Youth Services provides training, youth recreation, counseling, moral instruction, and an alternative to gang activity. Is to reach out to youth that want to improve his or her life situation, by providing guidance and counseling for a positive future. To provide services to youth that will:
To be successful, some youth need more than the average youth, for one reason or another. The mentoring service has been very successful with youth that have been incarcerated, and have shown a desire to improve their life situation. These youth have been assigned a mentor who partners with them for success.
This includes following their progress at school, counseling, working with courts, social workers, and parents.
I would like to invite you to Youth Group every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. Bring your parents to Bible Study at the same time, or ……. your younger brothers, sisters, and cousins, to Bible Club beginning the first Wednesday in February. The Youth Group is currently working on the unique drama called:

This may be the program you are looking for. It is a program offered to the NW Denver Community to help children who have difficulty reading and/or writing. Children, ages 5 - 12 will attend the tutorial program two times a week. 5 - 6 year olds will focus on phonics skills 7 - 8 year olds will focus on phonics and beginning writing skills 9 - 10 year olds will focus on reading skills and writing skills 11 - 12 year olds will focus on reading comprehension and writing skills. Monday and Thursday from September through June 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Nightly activities will include:

Margaret James is the Director for the Tutorial Program. She has worked for Adams County School District #1 for 23 years. She has a B.A. and M.A. in the field of Special Education. She believes that "every student can have a desire to learn," and it is her goal to encourage and motivate students to do their very best while requiring high standards and behavior expectations. In addition to her education, she has been recognized for her contribution to the excellence of education for all students. She has mentored and supervised new teachers, participated in numerous workshops on improving reading and writing skills, and in 1997 she was candidate for "Teacher of the Year" award in District #1. |
